This wonderful ring is all original and in super condition. The mounting is a lovely warm and rich gold tone, not at all brassy with the top decor having a graceful curve and containing two rows of small diamonds. There are no cracks, rips, dents, holes, nasty scratches or abrasions. Due to the original high polished smooth surface to the mounting you do see that normal and common less polished surface from the ring being worn. The shank and all but three of the prongs appear to be original. If those couple prongs were beefed up it was done with a superb color match. The shank is very nicely in round. The interior of the shank has the gold marks of 14K with the 1 worn away and 585 (European for 14kt). The top of the ring contains 14 diamonds, 3 pts each, with 7 in each row that total 42pts. (50 pts is 1/2 carat). The diamonds are very bright and nicely white with a lot of sparkle and extremely well matched. The ring measures an approx. 5 3/4 on my size pole with the top decor's curve being 3/4" long x a hair under a 1/4" wide. A lovely vintage ring in outstanding condition.
