This 50's bracelet has a strong Retro look with it's angled, and somewhat pyramid shaped links. The center of the bracelet contains 3 larger angled links with prong mounted Citrines in their centers. At both ends are 2 smaller pyramid shaped links with all of the links separated by smaller half barrel shapes.
The gold is in excellent plus condition with no rips, dents, holes, nasty scratches, abrasions or repairs. If you do a very close inspection you can find the normal, occasional bit of surface scuffing from the bracelet being worn over the years as expected. The links are made with 1 rectangle and 1 barrel cast together as one link. The links are then hinged together on one side of the barrel to one side of a rectangle. This enables the bracelet to have a nice curve for a comfortable fit on your wrist. The six hinges are all original, in smooth working order without repairs. The clasp is very firm and closes with a good click. On the interior backside of a link there is a 1/16" long spot of scratching that I am assuming is a less experience person doing a gold test.
The Citrines are done in an emerald cut and are approx. 3/8" wide x a hair under 1/2" tall. They are very clear and bright as well as being excellent in color match. They have been inspected with a 10 power loupe and their top surfaces are free of deep scratches or abrasions. With the loupe I found an approx 1/16" chip to the side of a corner (see last photo green <) on one stone as well as a 1/32" chip and rough facet edge again on a side corner on another stone. Unless you turn the bracelet sideways and do an extreme close up inspection these two tiny chips are not visible.
The 14K mark is on the inside of the clasp as seen in the photo plus Rich has acid tested for verification. The bracelet measures approx 7" long taking into account the fit of the closure and is 1/2" thru the widest point (the Citrines). It weighs 27 grams with the Citrines mounted in the bracelet. I have a 6 3/4" wrist and the bracelet has free movement around my wrist. A lovely vintage bracelet with beautiful stones and great style.
