14kt. Gold Mesh Bracelet - Circa 1960
This bracelet is lovely quality with great flexible movement and good weight. It fits very comfortably around my wrist, not at all stiff or binding. The mesh is done in a variation of a herringbone pattern with interlocked side rim links and a graceful curved top surface.
The gold is in excellent plus condition with no rips, dents, cracks, holes, scratches, abrasions or repairs. The bracelet closes with a good thud and is very firm in it's closure. It has an original figure 8 security lock that is in working order. Both the closure flange and the clasp box contain 14K marks. The flange also contains a makers mark of "DFS" with each letter in it's own circle that just barely overlaps on the edge rim with it's neighbor. The bracelet measures 7 1/4" long not counting the flange, is 9/16" wide and weighs 45.5 grams. A super bracelet that is perfect for that man or woman who prefers classic tailored jewelry.
