Sterling 4 Leaf Clover Napkin Ring - Circa 1905Sterling 4 Leaf Clover Napkin Ring - Circa 1905

This lovely napkin ring has a wonderful top and bottom border pattern. The rims are done with a scalloped edge created from the border patterns of a running motif of 4 leaf clovers and clover flowers. The pattern has great depth and all over dimension. The center portion of the ring has been left un-patterned to allow for presentation but has never been engraved. The ring is in excellent condition and has great shape being within 1/32" of perfect roundness-it was used but not abused. You will find as can be expected a couple minute faint lined and pin point sized indentations as well as light surface scratching on the un-patterned surface from use and old style cleaners. But there are no cracks, holes, rips, deep scratches, nasty dents or repairs. The "STERLING" mark is on the interior and can be seen in the insert on photo # 2. Just below it is an incomplete mark that may read: 133 which would be the design/model number of the ring. The napkin ring is nicely substantial - good and sturdy - weighing 1.43 ozs. It measures approximately 1 1/2" tall with a 1 3/4" diameter. This ring came in 2 sizes (maybe more) with the other being 1 3/4" tall so if you are matching to make a pair or set please be sure to measure.
