This lovely napkin ring has a wonderful applied top and bottom border of scrolling curlicues and leaves with areas of great depth and all over dimension. The center portion of the ring has been left un-patterned to allow for presentation. The front contains a set of stylized initials that I believe to read "IAL" or "JAL" with the back having the year "1902" of presentation. The ring is in excellent condition and has great shape being within 1/16" of perfect roundness-it was used but not abused. You will find as can be expected a few minute faint lined and pin point sized surface indentations as well as some scuffing from use and old style cleaners. But there are no cracks, holes, rips, nasty dents, deep scratches or repairs. The marks are on the interior and can be seen in the insert on photo #3. The ring is nicely substantial - good and sturdy - weighing 1.39 ozs. It measures 1 3/4" tall with a 1 9/16" diameter.
