Lovely circa 1925 buffer in outstanding condition. The black base color is unusual. Normally the background colors on the vanity items were pretty pastels to mid tones. The enamel is all original with no chips, cracks or restoration. With my eyes I found 1 minuscule thin surface scratch on tray (see photo) 1/10" long. When tilting for angle & light I found a very thin line approx 1/10" long that qualifies as a scratch, but I had to hunt for it! The 3 hand painted floral motifs are also enamel. Both the tray & buffer are marked F & B - Sterling. The buffing cloth is all intact with no holes & is well seated. There are a few spots of loss of nap & some stains from use. The sterling is in excellent condition with no rips, dents or repairs. Size is 5 3/4 long x 2" wide x 1 1/2" tall. Please read ABOUT US & TERMS OF SALE.
