Beautiful work on this lovely onyx cameo pin of an Elizabethan lady. I just love her stand up collar-great additional touch! She has no chips or cracks to her stone. There is a bit of rough edge to the two collar points under her lips and chin. The one under her lips also has a bit of the top portion of the point missing but a bottom portion is there. It's unknow if if these surface flaws are from the carver doing such delicate fine work on her nose and lips or if it is tiny nicks of damage. She is surrounded by a string of cultured pearls in excellent firmly attached condition. Her frame is 14kt rose gold. She has been acid tested for gold kt. as she has no marks. Her pin back must have been damaged at one time as the C clasp, pin & hinge are professionally done replacements. She is a 1 1/8" dia. in size. A truly lovely piece of jewelry for any woman. Circa 1900. Please read ABOUT US & TERMS OF SALE.
