This is a late 18th or very early 19th century button of printed shimmery silk under glass. The images don't convey the lustrous shine of the silk. It measures 1 & 1/2" and is in very fine condition. (There is a blip in the glass at 1 o'clock--not a chip, but a flaw in the old rolled glass; the surface is perfectly smooth.)
