Your satisfaction always is guaranteed.

This is an most unusual black glass button from the late 1800s depicting in white glass, fused into the black glass base, a man on a bicycle. The glass technique--glass fused in glass--is called a tile to button collectors. When these buttons are broken, it can be seen that the fused glass goes deeper than a surface application. This monochromatic button measures 15/16" wide and 1/4" thick in excellent condition. (I just happened upon an article about tile buttons that shows this exact button! See NBS Bulletin, Oct. 2014.)
