This classic Art Deco brooch may have begun life as a dress clip and later artfully converted to a brooch. It measures 2 & 1/4" by 1 & 7/8"--large but
not imposing. It has very fine marcasites that sparkle like teeny diamonds--brilliant flecks eve in low light. The peking glass stones are translucent green glass, imitative of emeralds. The piece is solid, no moving parts. It has four ultra tiny enamel faux onyx cabochons. The baguettes at the center too are marcasite. I think there are one or two of the tiniest--1mm looks like--marcasites absent.
