This is a scarce 1930s black hard celluloid cup button with a silver-plated brass casting of a famous Hawaiian champion open water swimmer. It is made just like another equally hard-to-find button in pyralin celluloid showing the first Curtiss Wright biplane. (The pair would look great together!) It measures 1 & 1/2" and is in excellent condition. The escutcheon is drilled through the body.
