This is a lovely scene of arctic ice and a solitary polar bear--both endangered. Someday, the polar bears extant may be captive. The black border sort of portends the mourning of a lost habitat. The mark is 0.925 and the maker's mark is shown. It looks like the reknown enamel jewelry of Norway, but it could be another Scandinavian country. The basse taille (not guilloche) enamel is especially attractive to convey the midnight sun. It measures 2 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition.
