This is the most eye-catching moonstone I have ever found. 1 by 3/4 inches, size 7, the large oval stone has been cut into the oddest surface I've ever seen! I think the purpose was to capture all the blue fire adularescence of the moonstone and minimize the appearance of internal flaws (you can see them--they look like cracks or seams deep inside). It flashes vivid color. This ring has a lot of age on it. It makes me think of the 1970s; it's clear someone wore it for many years. The sterling silver could be brightened up (I will do this if the buyer wishes). The setting is wonderful, snag-free and sturdy. The ring itself was cast in a handsome design. No marks, but guaranteed to be as described.
