This 19th century ring covers the finger. It measures 7/8 inch across and is size 8. The stones are grain-set such that they do not snag on things despite the size of the setting. The gold is pinkish in hue and tested 14 karat. The shank has nice thickness. The rose cut diamonds were described (to me) as "champagne"; I'll just call them light brown. They are VERY sparkly and bright, but not at all matched for precise color. Big and flashy--what's not to love?
