I am always drawn to the unusual so this iconic lady in pink silk and rose buds caught my eye. The heavy silver is better than sterling and all hand worked repousee. It may originally have been another type of adornment, but the brooch pin and bar shank look 19th century. The cover looks like rock crystal as you can see with a high powered loupe--it has been carved and polished to precisely fit the piece. It does not have the clarity of glass. The painting appears to be air-tight as its detail and hues are still sharp and bright. The blue looks like the dust from butterfly wings. It measures 2 & 3/8 by 1 & 1/4 inches and I am sure you will not see another :) I think it is in excellent condition. It reminds me of Persia.
