This is one of the biggest, heaviest, and glitziest Stanley Hagler pieces I have discovered over the years. I do not have a data of manufacture but it looks quite contemporary--perhaps 1970s or 1980s. All of the beadwork is stable--nothing missing or loose. It is, like all Hagler piece, meticulously constructed of the finest glass beads and stones. The back displays the modern gold finished "gurtlerwork" made famous in Bohemia and exalted by Stanley Hagler N.Y.C. I believe the enamel is cold--of a lacquer nature--rather than fired, but the hues and reflective finish are as lovely.
