This early 20th c. necklace is made of brass, glass, and enamel into a delicate flutter against your throat. It measures 18 inches; the largest, focal bug is 1 & 5/6 by 3/4 inches. The enamel is gritty providing an uncommon texture (perhaps unintentional effect of annealing to quickly) that is stable, not crumbly by any means. Different. The bright yellow faceted glass is in very fine condition. I will check later to see if those teeny dark dots on one wing were the wing or my scanner surface.
