This is a large 1 & 3/8 inches late 19th century pressed glass button of a caramel hue enhanced with sepia tinting. Large pictorial Victorian glass are not uncommonly rare, but some subjects and colors of glass are more desirable than others. This is an appealing subject. There's a similar one, even more desirable, of monks trying to stuff a tortoise into a soup pot. Those Victorians! :)
