I was delighted when I got my hands on this small 1 & 7/8 by 3/4 inches colorful brooch. The enamel is fired; I had expected paint, or "cold enamel" as we say now to distinguish fired enamel and enamel paint. I also discovered it is marked sterling silver twice. The stone is glass but what a neat shape! Small but visually compelling, this Art Deco era brooch has no other marks. You can see on the back how well-made it is. It isn't thin like high tensile aluminum foil--not bendy at all.
