This is a bracelet from the late 1920s or early 1930s--probably French--made of a hard white metal that polishes beautifully but is not plated metal or "German silver". It is a nice alloy. The links are wafer thin and curved to fit the wrist comfortably. The links are overlaid with a sheet of shagreen or eggshell lacquer, resulting in a softly contrasting wrist band of curious textures. It shows wear but is in good condition. It measures 6 & 1/4" long by 1 & 1/4", and it curls up tightly so quite flexible. It is also very simply constructed with tubular connectors.
