Lacy glass is thought to be of Bohemian origin, late 19th or early 20th century, reknown for its metallic back paint and lacy pressed front surfaces. The color layer is usually painted over with black or silver paint to preserve it. It is easier to amass a collection of medium size lacy glass (and more budget-considerate), so I am offering a selection of "mediums". This is just a hair over 1" in diameter in excellent condition. The scanner reflects wildly, but the overall color scheme is silver and metallic sky blue. All the color is on the back. What a picture cannot convey is that the raised design is crystal when viewed incidentally which really adds pop to the silver lustered surface. This floral rosette is a true beauty.
