This is a wild glass and pate de verre bead necklace by Louis Rousselet of France, circa 1950. The clasp is unmarked. The colors are those crazy French palettes again: ruby red, (flawed) emerald green, and amethyst purple. It is sterling silver (tested). It has a heavy shepherd's hook clasp. It measures 15"; the cluster drop is spectacular. With the beads fully extended, it measures 4" wide by 3" top to bottom. Please enlarge the images--the pearls are in amazingly good condition. They are not golden pearls--but a bright off-white hue.
