A vintage sterling silver three piece set , consisting of a necklace ,ring and bracelet , each piece set with a hematite cabochon. The necklace measures 18 inches long ,with a pendant, which is set with one cabochon hematite stone. The pendant measures 4 inches long and 1 & 6/8 inches wide. The sterling mark is on the lobster claw clasp.(925) Two sterling mesh chains , covered with sterling tubes hold the pendant in place (see photographs). The chains and clasp measure 19 inches long. The condition is excellent . The necklace weighs 69.7 grams.
The matching bracelet The inside measurement of the matching bracelet is 7 inches around the wrist. The bracelet decoration measures once inch wide, with a thin , though substantial band of silver in the back. The clasp is unusual . A hook fits into a ring and is held in place by a safety catch. There are no silver marks on the bracelet , but it tests as silver, and is part of this parure. The bracelet too is set with a cabochon hematite stone. It's in excellent condition and weighs 45.2 grams.
The matching ring, also set with a cabochon hematite stone, has a hallmark and "925" stamped on the back of the shank. I could not identify the hallmark, but it looks European. The setting measures 1 inch by 1 inch. The ring weighs 7.9 grams and is a size 7. The ring is also in excellent vintage condition.
The set , especially when when worn together, is very dramatic.
