Offered here for your consideration is a beautiful .40ct diamond Art Deco filigree lady’s ring made circa 1915 to 1925.
The beautiful and precisely pierced filigree displays floral and geometric designs of the period transitioning from Edwardian to Art Deco style. The ring is stamped 14K on the inside of its shank. The top center measures 10mm North to South by approximately 17mm from shoulder to shoulder. The ring fits a size 6 ¼ finger and can be sized up or down a few sizes by a qualified jeweler.
At the ring’s top center is a detailed mille grained hexagonal illusion setting mounted with a single .40ct Old European Cut scintillating diamond. Clarity SI1, Color J. The diamond has two tiny chips one on a crown kite facet, the other on a crown girdle facet; magnification is necessary to see these so they do not detract from the beauty of the diamond or the ring. The sides of the shank are engraved adding to the exquisite detail ranking this fine filigree ring as heirloom quality. The ring is in excellent condition.
