Antique Iron Window Guard, Early 1900sAntique Iron Window Guard, Early 1900sAntique Iron Window Guard, Early 1900s

A fabulous antique iron gate, dating from the early 1900s and originally used as a window guard. This cast iron piece features a row of spear finials which line the top of the guard; the ironwork below features alternating foliate medallions. It would make for a wonderful fireplace shield, trellis, accent piece in your garden, or a lovely decorative interior piece. This piece of ironwork is in good antique condition with a chippy, black painted finish and has the expected wear including a incomplete foliate medallion on its right side. It measures 29-1/8" wide and 19-1/4" tall.
