A striking antique iron gate, dating from the early 1900s and originally used as a window guard. This cast iron piece features a row of spear finials which line the top of the guard; the ironwork below features alternating foliate medallions. It would make for a wonderful fireplace shield, trellis, accent piece in your garden, or a lovely decorative interior piece. This piece of ironwork is in good antique condition with a chippy, black painted finish and has the expected wear as shown including a chipped spear in its top center. It measures 29" wide and 19-3/4" tall.
