A lovely antique iron gate, dating from the early 1900s and originally used as a window guard. This cast iron piece features a row of spear finials which line the top of the guard; the ironwork below features alternating foliate medallions. It would make for a wonderful fireplace shield, trellis, accent piece in your garden, or a lovely decorative interior piece. This piece of ironwork is in good antique condition with a chippy, white painted finish and has the expected wear as shown. It measures 28-5/8" wide and 19-3/8" tall.
