A marvelous pair of antique single-arm sconces, made and signed by Riddle and dating from the 1920’s. Each sconce features a scalloped backplate ornamented with incised vines; a hammered arm extends from a leafy base at the bottom of the backplate to support a gadrooned candle cup with a berry finial. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 10-5/8” tall, 4-1/4” wide, and project 6” from the wall. There are coordinating sconces available under #NSP599-RW.
