Fantastic pair of brass single-arm sconces, dating from the early 20th century. These Neoclassical wall lamps begin in an urn top finial. Underneath, a shield-shaped backplate is topped by volute curls and accented by acanthus leaf and bellflower details. An S-shaped sconce arm blooms out of the backplate to support a beaded border bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition and have been professionally rewired with all of the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original non-functioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. Each sconce measures 3-3/4” wide, 10-1/8” tall, and projects 6-1/2” from the wall.
