This is a gorgeous set of antique cast iron sconces with their original polychrome finish, and found in a home in Indianapolis, IN. Dating from the 1920s, the beautifully cast set includes two single arm sconces and one double arm sconce. Each shield-shaped backplate features a seeded texture with a foliate medallion at its center; intricately detailed arms extend from the bottom of the backplate to support wax pans with acorn finials. Polychrome accents in red and black highlight the fixtures throughout. The wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The single arm sconces measure 4-3/8" wide, 11-1/8" tall, and protrude 5" from the wall; the double arm sconce measures 8" wide, 11-1/8" tall, and protrudes 4."
