A wonderful pair of cast iron antique single-arm sconces, dating from the 1920s, and made and signed by Moe Bridges. Each sconce is crowned with a stylized corn and husk, and features a beautifully cast backplate with a palmette encircled in bellflowers and volutes. A reeded arm extends from the bottom of the backplate to support a wax pan with stylized foliate detail. The wall lamps are in excellent condition. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctional antique turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. They are 11-1/2” tall, 4-1/4" wide and protrude 6-1/4" from the wall.
