Gorgeous pair of antique single-arm sconces in their original silver plate over pewter finish and dating from 1910. Made and signed by Empire, the sconces feature a beautifully cast backplate that is crowned with an inverted fleur-de-lis surrounded by rope and volute detail. A single arm extends elegantly from the bottom of the backplate to support a silver-plated bobeche with coordinating rope and foliate accents. These wall lamps are in very good antique condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces are 9-1/2” tall, 4-3/16” wide, and project 4-3/4” from the wall.
