This is a wonderful pair of antique Neoclassical sconces in their original two-tone finish of brass and pewter, c. 1900s. Each of these double-arm sconces feature a finely cast pewter back plate crowned with a lattice pattern that is bordered by volutes and acanthus leaves. A pair of grooved arms extend from the bottom of the back plate and support two-tone foliate wax pans and candle cups. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 9-1/4” wide, 12-1/4” tall, and have a projection of 5-1/2”.
