This is a superb pair of antique Spanish Revival sconces, dating from the early 1900s. These cast bronze single-arm sconces feature a shield-shaped hammered back plate crowned with a band of crenulated detailing. A twisted, s-shaped arm protrudes from the bottom of the back plate and finishes in a twisted spike finial. The arm supports a two-part bobeche with an understated wax pan and a candle cup featuring a waved edge and simple foliate cutouts. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 3-7/8" wide, 9-5/8 tall, and project 6-1/2" from the wall.
