This is a pair of antique single-arm brass plated over pewter sconces, circa 1910. The oval backplate features a scrolling foliate design at the top and bottom, and a raised rosette in the center. Each voluted sconce arm sweeps out from the center of the backplate and supports a gadrooned bobeche. The simplicity of these handsome sconces would fit in with a wide variety of styles. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nastalgia's sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 4-1/8" wide, 11-3/4" tall, and protrude 4-1/4" from the wall.
