A delightful pair of antique double-arm sconces, dating from the early 1900's, and found in a home in Chicago, IL. Each sconce's octagonal backplate is crowned with a stylized foliate finial and is bordered in roped detail; the convex center features a stylized and textural floral design. Two anthemion-accented arms extend from either side of the backplate to support beautifully cast and pierced wax pans; single teardrop prisms suspend below. Polychrome accents in red and green highlight the fixture throughout. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 12-1/4” tall, 9-1/8” wide, and project 3-3/4” from the wall.
