A gorgeous pair of cast bronze double arm Adam-style sconces, dating from the early 1900’s, and found in a home in Chicago, IL. These Neoclassical sconces feature an oval backplate ornamented with a radial design of stylized petals; the backplate is crowned with a flaming urn surrounded by scrolling foliates, bellflowers, and volutes. Two reeded arms extend from the bottom of the backplate to support wax pans with trefoil cut-out. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 16-1/4" tall, 10-1/4" tall, and project 6-3/4" from the wall.
