Marvelous pair of antique Art Deco sconces in bronze, dating from the early 1900's, and found in a home in Lextington, KY. The sconces start with a circular backplate crowned with an unusual finial with pierced and incised detail; the backplate is encircled with scrolling leaves. Two complementary and pierced arms extend from the bottom of the backplate to support wax pans with circle and diamond detailing. Polychrome accents in orange and green highlight the sconces throughout. These wall lamps are in very good antique condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. Each sconce measures 10-1/2" wide, 12-7/8" tall, and projects 5-3/4" from the wall.
