Antique Tudor lantern sconce pair, dating from the early 1900's and found in a home in Nashville, TN. Each figural sconce begins with a hammered, circular backplate; an arm finished with a stylized dog head extends from its center to support the lantern below. The lantern is crowned with a conical roof featuring triangular and faux-riveted detail; the cylindrical body features curved openings that allow the original clear, crackled shade to shine through. The sconces are in excellent condition and have been professionally rewired with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each wall mount fixture measures 12" tall, 6-1/2" wide, and projects 7-5/8” from the wall.
