A striking pair of Art Deco double-arm sconces, dating from the 1920's, and found in a home in Indianapolis, IN. Each sconce's backplate is crowned with a stylized fleur-de-lis and ornamented with grooved lines and stylized flowers and leaves. Two curling arms extend from a skyscraper section at the bottom the backplate to support gadrooned wax pans. Polychrome accents in red, green, and blue highlight the fixtures throughout. The wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. The sconces are 10-1/4” tall, 9-1/4” wide, and project 3-1/2” from the wall.
