A stunning pair of antique double-arm sconces, in their original and beautifully aged bronze finish, dating from the early 1900s. Each sconce's backplate is surrounded by a lush and beautifully cast border of acanthus leaves and volutes with polychrome accents in red and green. Two scrolling and substantial arms extend from the center of the backplate to support leafy bobeches with complimentary detailing. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. The sconces measure 16-1/2” tall, 9-3/4” wide, and project 8” from the wall. There is a coordinating sconce pair available under #NSP1211-RW.
