A gorgeous pair of antique two arm Neoclassical sconces in their original gilded finish over pewter , dating from the early 1900’s. These sconces begin with a scalloped and oval backplate ornamented with a border of volutes and wing-like foliates; the center is accented with a contrasting black band. Two "S" shaped arms extend from a volute cluster at the bottom of the backplate to support chamfered candle cups hung with gorgeous spear prisms. The wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 8-3/4" wide, 9-3/4" tall, and projects 5" from the wall.
