Magnificent pair of antique Rococo sconces, dating from the late 19th century, originally gas and now all wired for electricity. Each sconce begins with a leafy backplate; a beautifully cast and scrolling sconce arm extends from the backplate and is enveloped with vines and maple leaves. The arms affix to understated shade holders; each holder has been fitted with a hand-cut ball shade with a 2-5/8" opening. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 13-1/4” tall, 7-1/4” wide, and project 16-1/4" from the wall.
