Stunning pair of antique double-arm mirrored sconces with prisms, dating from the early 1900s, and found in a home in Chicago, IL. Each sconce features an oval, beveled mirror in its center; the mirror is surrounded by a volute and foliate border; a petite urn-shaped section sits at the bottom of the backplate and holds glass flowers attached to slender "stems." Two smooth sconce arms extend from below the urn to support two-part bobeches hung with sparkling "icicle" prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with varying degrees of aging to the mirrors; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce measures 15” tall, 9-3/4” wide, and has a projection of 5-1/4”.
