A magnificent pair of antique double-arm figural sconces in cast bronze, dating from the 1920’s. Inspired by the British royal coat of arms, the sconces are crowned with a lion on the left and a unicorn on the right, with a crown above and thistles between.. A sconce arm extends from either side of the shield-shaped backplate, each holding a crenellated bobeche with a bellflower finial below. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 10-3/4” tall, 10-1/4” wide, and project 4-5/8” from the wall. There are coordinating sconces available under #NSP1112-RW.
