Magnificent pairs of antique single-arm figural sconces in cast bronze, dating from the early 1900’s. Inspired by the British royal coat of arms, the sconces are crowned with a lion on the left and a unicorn on the right, with a crown above and thistles between. A single sconce arm extends from the center of the shield-shaped backplate to support a crenellated bobeche; the bobeche finished in a substantial twisted finial ornamented with bellflowers at top and bottom. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 16-3/8” tall, 3-7/8” wide, and project 5” from the wall. There are coordinating sconces available under #NSP1113-RW. THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR EACH SCONCE PAIR.
