A gorgeous pair of antique slip shade sconces, circa 1930, and part of the "After the Sunset" series by Lightolier. Each sconce features a beautifully cast backplate with a pierced, and flowing design of volutes; each sconce's slipper shade perches above a foliate-embellished platform built into the backplate. The slip shades feature a cream hue, with a pale maroon border which frames a grape leaf and berry motif. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; the shades are in very good antique condition with some fleabites around the edges of the shades and one small chip in one of the shades (as pictured.) The sconces have been professionally rewired with a working pull chain, and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 11-1/4” tall, 5-3/8” wide, and project 4” from the wall.
