A fabulous pair of three-arm brass sconces with their original painted green finish, dating from the early 1900’s. Each Neoclassical sconce features a notched rectangular backplate framed with an intricately cast border of stylized foliates and palmettes; the backplate is crowned with a slender finial capped with an abstract fleur-de-lis. Three arms descend from the bottom of the backplate and arch upwards to support two-part bobeches hung with their original crystal "spear" prisms. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 12-1/4" wide, 18-3/4" tall, and project 7-1/2" from the wall.
