A beautiful pair of cast brass double-arm sconces, dating from the early 1900’s, and found in a home in Franklin, TN. These Neoclassical sconces feature a shield-shaped backplate ornamented with bellflowers, acanthus leaves, and stylized foliate details; the backplate is crowned with a floral bouquet within an urn. Two reeded arms extend from a leafy cluster at the bottom of the backplate and ascend to support leaf-and-dart bordered bobeches. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The sconces measure 13-1/8" tall, 9-3/4" tall, and project 5-1/8" from the wall.
