A wonderful pair of antique cast bronze Spanish Revival sconces, dating from the 1920s, and found in a home in Cincinnati, OH. Each backplate features a hammered and notched backplate crowned with an oversized finial featuring a trefoil flanked with lion heads. Two sconce arms extend from the center of the backplate to support candle cups with a roped border. Polychrome accents in red and blue highlight the fixtures throughout. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 13” tall, 10-1/2” wide, and project 5-1/2” from the wall.
